A monument dedicated to ugly people is set to be unveiled in Italy this Sunday. The World Association of Ugly People, which has branches all over the world, commissioned the monument, as a celebration of all those lacking model looks, to be built in a small town in northern Italy. The monument, which will depict an unknown person looking at their own reflection in the mirror, will be unveiled during the annual meeting of the association this Sunday. "The motto of our association is that a person is what he is and not what he looks like," says Telesforo Lacobelli, the president of the association, "it is not a monument to a good looking film star or dashing war hero, but to a person who is just as beautiful - but only on the inside."
