Renowned environmental magazine Resurgence is 45 this weekend and to celebrate the occasion Gather are throwing them a party.

The event is set in the wild surrounds of Goongillings Farm in Constantine, featuring speakers such as Guardian environmental writer Leo Hickman and travel writer and novelist Phillip Marsden.

A diverse selection of participatory art, live music, inspirational speakers and local food will also be on offer.

The event also coincides with www.350.orgs A Day to Move Beyond Fossil Fuels.

In support of this Gather will be asking party goers to participate in the formation of a giant version of 350’s logo which will be photographed from above.

350 aims to create awareness and reduce c02 levels from 390 parts per million to the safer level of 350ppm.
