In 2005, tickets appeared on eBay within minutes of going on sale, despite the threat of stringent identification checks by Festival staff. But it's all change this year. For the 2007 event, prospective punters will have to pre-register their details, including a passport-style photo of themselves, by the end of February.
Only the people who have done this will be allowed to try for tickets
when they go on sale on 1 April. You'll be able to pick up
pre-registration forms from Millets camping shops, or online throughout
February, and if you're lucky enough to get hold of a ticket in April
it will have your photo printed on it. So unless you sell it to your
twin, or someone willing to get a face transplant you've got little
choice but to go. Unlucky. Of course, we've no doubt they'll be some
blaggers who won't let a little thing like photo tickets stop them.
Someone Stranger knows snuck in to the last Glastonbury by covering
himself in blankets and hiding in a cardboard box in someone's caravan
for a day. Now that's commitment.

If your face ain't down, you're not coming in. According to Michael Eavis, who has recently
announced ticket details for this year's Glastonbury Festival, which
takes place (as always) on the last weekend of June at Worthy Farm.
