University College Falmouth launched its first ever Summer Festival last Friday, a week of celebrations profiling the work of their graduating students. From performances, screenings and gigs to regular final show exhibitions, the festival has spread out across both Wood Lane and Tremough Campus and offers the public an insight into the shape and feel of Cornwall's creative future. Finishing tomorrow evening, the final shows themselves are definitely worth a look, with Illustration, 3D design and Graphics offering particular highlights. From children's books to oil paintings, promotional campaigns to sustainable furniture, the work on display is varied and the talent palpable. It's safe to say the future looks bright. University College Falmouth's Summer Festival runs until 9pm 24 June at Wood Lane and Tremough Campus. Admission is free. For more information check out www.falmouth.ac.uk
