Streetlife DJs to play St Ives Unique electronica club night My Heroes Killed Cowboys will soon hit St Ives with its next slice of genre-defying disco fun, as Kitsune Paris's Streetlife DJs give their South West debut.

Best described by Radio1's Pete Tong as, "a cross between Sasha, Coldcut and Soulwax", the duo are bringing retro funk and house to the ears and feet of Cornwall at the newly invented hotspot Isobar Is Dead on Saturday 22 August from 9pm till 4am.

Joining them are South West favourites, Jac The Disco, who are now smashing the London club scene and dance floors on the white isle of Ibiza. Downstairs will be Dave Spenceley who, as one quarter of the four strong DJ team Sir Vinyl, is winning new friends and fans wherever he takes his broken beat set.

If the success of the previous events is anything to go by, we suggest you clear a space in the diary and get yourself a ticket for £6. (Rachel James)
