MY HEROES KILLED COWBOYS - DEATH OF THE ISO BAR PDF Print
News

My Heroes Killed CowboysThey claim to be the hottest new party in one of Cornwall's coolest towns, and they're killing St Ives' Iso bar as we know it. So we suggest you clear a space in your diary and check out the venue's impressive revamp and revival on Saturday 28 March!

My Heroes Killed Cowboys will be taking their top quality tunes to the revamped venue's opening night. Bans will be lifted along with new door staff, fresh décor, a restocked bar and a boosted sound and lighting system. The re-born bar is even boasting a new-fangled room complete with a giant bed, and rumour has it that a renowned local artist will be leaving his signature markings all over their facilities.

The evening promises to deliver quality new music and surprises in celebration of the new team moving in and making their mark on music bookings, booze and re-branding - so the old Iso bar, it would seem, is well and truly dead. Cult London nightclub, Fabric, stars Skull Juice will be supplying the soundtrack to the event, who have headlined some of the country's biggest club nights with their massive record collection. The duo have been known to play alongside some of today's dance giants, and been heavily praised by DJ of the moment Erol Alkan.

The Skull Juice profile is soaring in light of their serious remix and production credentials. Joining their cross-genre bass-heavy mixes for the night are MHKC co-organisers Jac the Disco, who continue to smash dance floors from London to Bristol to Cornwall to France, Germany, Ibiza and back again with their four decks of disco dancing electro mayhem.

Why not head down and rate the re-vamp for yourselves? - New sponsor of the venue Havana Club will be stirring up a selection of cocktail promotions for early arrivals. Entry is £5 before 11pm, and £6 after. Oh! and the opening night will be offering up some owl-related surprises!take a look at the website to find out more.
