Stranger is evolving.

Hello. Exciting stuff has been happening here at Stranger Collective which means we need to make a glut of changes to our website.

Things are starting to take shape, but until we're ready to share what it's all about please feel free to look around the existing website. You'll be able to find out more about where the Collective has come from, what we've been up to over the last eight years and where we're headed.

See you on the other side...

POP UP CULTURE UNDER LONDON FLYOVER PDF Print
News

Think flyovers are pretty uninspiring? Think again. A culture 'house' has sprung up between the flyovers at Lea in London for a season of film, performance, music and play.

Hand built by a gaggle of volunteers out of local reclaimed and donated materials, Folly for a Flyover opened in late June and will play host to a six week programme of waterside arts, from screenings of classic movies with live soundtracks to performances of brand new dance and theatre from cutting edge British talent.

On weekends until the 24 July, the Folly will host a cafe serving local food and will run boat trips to explore the local waterways, there'll be workshops and activities in the day time and must see events in the evenings.

The brainchild of Assemble CIC, Folly... is the latest in a series of activities which demonstrate the exciting and innovative things that can be done with Britain's disused spaces.

The first raft of tickets to Folly for a Flyover have just been released, but there are plenty more on offer. Log on to www.follyforaflyover.com to find out more.
