Whites Grounds
A disused service tunnel in London has been turned into a free, floodlit skateplaza.

The park is situated underneath a railway line on Whites Grounds near London Bridge, and has been designed by The Side Effects Of Urethane, who Stranger featured in issue 11 (which you can read here).

Although work on the plaza began last summer, the project has so far been shrouded in secrecy. As such, there is no set opening date at the moment (although we are promised it will be available to use this year).

Plans to build a wooden miniramp at the complex – which is currently more street/concrete focussed – are also being considered.
