Brrrr. It's pretty rare to see snow on the beaches in Cornwall, but here we are, the first week of 2010 with a thick white coat on Fistral Beach. Surf anyone?

Causing disruption across the country and preventing most of us from rubbering up and getting in, the snow and ice look set to last for a while yet with more white stuff forecast for this weekend and into next week.
