Cornish theatre project company, o-Region, will embark on a South West tour presenting their latest piece Superstition Mountain from September.
Showing the same great theatricality as their 2005 hit show Laughing Gas, the new production also explores the company's passion for film by using moving image as an integral part of the story-telling.
It's a tale of three Cornish brothers, an Arizona goldmine, and a hopeless quest for a lost treasure hoard. They must make it out of Cornwall alive, fly to America, cross the inhospitable desert wastes of Arizona, and conquer the haunted crags and impenetrable canyons of Superstition Mountain to find it. So that's all they have to do: survive that... and each other.
The realism will be heightened further with the three Gunwallow boys being portrayed by three real-life Cornish brothers: Simon (o-region's artistic director, Kneehigh Theatre), Dan (The Midnight Drives, Kernow's Kick Ass Kung Fu Kweens) and Brett (Laughing Gas, The Rabbit) Harvey. Superstition Mountain is a dark comedy adventure exploring the intimate bonds and savage divides of brotherly love.
