Emmy the Great has announced details of her debut album.

The hotly-tipped Londoner has been been working on the record alongside members of The Earlies, and provided the following dispatch on her MySpace blog;

"hellol,

apparently there have been accusations of flippancy when it comes to the album. i do assure you that we're only making fun because all the other 23 hours of the day we're working really hard.even now as i type i am thinking hard about the final mixes (nnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggg - that is the sound of me thinking). I don't know if any of this helps but the album will be called First Love and it is coming out in September. Track listing at the moment is: Absentee/ 24/ We Almost had a Baby/ the Easter Parade/ Dylan/ City Song/ First Love/ MIA/ Bad Things Coming, We Are Safe/ On the Museum Island/ Everything Reminds me of You/ War"

That's her spelling and grammar, not ours...

She also promised to put a new song (one that didn't make it onto the album) up for download in the next month, so keep checking her MySpace for that.
