The phone line has been hot and our email server groaning with enquiries about Stranger in the Snow 2007, so we thought it about time we put you all in the picture… With 48 people booked on the trip, it is now completely sold out, and unfortunately we have also had to turn away about 25 more people. We’ve been overwhelmed by the response – it seems the stories from last year’s trip have spread far and wide, with many people coming back and bringing their mates this year, as well as new readers who just like the sound of it (despite melodramatic avalanche stories and the like).

We’re going to be staying in Vallandry (Les Arcs), France, from 17 to 24 March, so if anyone fancies making their own way there and joining us for a run or two, we’d love to see you.
