Pop ChorusCornish filmmaker Brett Harvey has had his short film Pop Chorus shortlisted in Orange/BAFTA's 60 Seconds of Fame competion – and he needs your help.

Pop Chorus (winner of the One Take Wonder film competition organised by local film and theatre collective o-region) has been selected for the second round of the prestigious Orange/BAFTA competion, which invited filmmakers to make 60-second films on the theme of Celebrate. The winning ten films (one from each region) will be screened at the BAFTA Awards in February and will also be broadcast on BBC 1's coverage of the event.

Now here's where you come in. The winner will be chosen by vote, so please log on to the 60 Seconds of Fame website and vote for Brett if you like what he's done. The film is - believe it or not - only 60 seconds long, so it won't take up much of your precious time. It should make you laugh too. Watch Brett's film here

You can also vote by calling 0901 8271039 - calls cost 10p but online voting is absolutely free. There are over 65 films to check out on the site, including four other shorts from the South West, and you can also read comments people have left for other film makers, which are pretty amusing at times. Voting closes on Monday, so move swiftly! Regardless of the outcome, we think Brett's done pretty well to get this far - a big pat on the back to you, my son.
