Best known for his socio-political leanings, best represented here by his study of the Million Man March in Get on the Bus, there’s been much more to Lee than politics. From the sweaty Do the Right Thing, to the well-observed Mo’ Better Blues and the slow burning Clockers, this brings together some of his best work, though is notable for its exclusion of Malcolm X.
