Stranger is evolving.

Hello. Exciting stuff has been happening here at Stranger Collective which means we need to make a glut of changes to our website.

Things are starting to take shape, but until we're ready to share what it's all about please feel free to look around the existing website. You'll be able to find out more about where the Collective has come from, what we've been up to over the last eight years and where we're headed.

See you on the other side...

CANDIE PAYNE - I WISH I COULD HAVE LOVED YOU MORE PDF Print
Reviews - Music

Candie PayneCandie Payne may be a talented lady but what's perhaps more shocking is that she's a normal person too. In a world of pop princesses going loco left, right and centre, Candie puts the focus back onto the all-important music.

Her debut album has a vintage charm, with her melancholic vocals having a touch of Dusty about them but, despite the retro vibe, Candie offers a fresh album that is testament to the Deltasonic label's support of burgeoning Northwest talent.

Co-written with Simon Dine, I Wish I Could Have Loved You More is a beautiful collection of honest songs that thankfully lacks the bubblegum but maintains the pop. Candie will be heading out on The Sonic65 tour with The Draytones later in the month so go treat your ears to something sweet. (Lotte Mahon)

For a word from Candie Payne check out our Really Sayin' Somethin' feature in issue 14 of Stranger.
