Stranger is evolving.

Hello. Exciting stuff has been happening here at Stranger Collective which means we need to make a glut of changes to our website.

Things are starting to take shape, but until we're ready to share what it's all about please feel free to look around the existing website. You'll be able to find out more about where the Collective has come from, what we've been up to over the last eight years and where we're headed.

See you on the other side...

LITTLE MAN TATE - NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASYThe term 'indie-rock' is bandied about quite a lot these days. If it's not hip hop, metal, pop or country then chances are it's branded as indie-rock.

But there are degrees of indie-rock. Little Man Tate fall nicely into the middle ground, creating tunes that are unobtrusive, easy to get along with and more indie than rock. They are for this decade what the Lightening Seeds were for the nineties.

The second album for the Sheffield four-piece on Yellow Van/Skint Records is a selection of catchy melodies with soft lyrics that you can guess along to. Not breaking any music barriers, it will be a winner with anyone who wants something that's easy on the ear and the soul.

If you like your music straight up with no surprises than you could do a lot worse that Little Man Tate. (Niki Khoroushi)
