Every now and then an album comes into your life, seemingly out of nowhere, and just makes everything a bit better.

This almost unspeakably beautiful collection of children's lullabies from countries as diverse as Japan, China, India and even the Siberian republic of Tatarstan is such an album. Like The Langley Schools Music Project before it, Asian Dreamland has an effortless, honest simplicity, which will disarm and enchant even the most bitter, cynical and city-scarred of listeners.
