Memphis soul man Robert Moore, responsible for the classic funk-bomb, ‘Cramp Your Style’, thumbs a lift while in the UK and lays down a couple of fine vocals; leaving Speedette singer Ria Currie to sock it to ‘em for the remaining tracks. A good mix of instrumentals and vocals throughout; among the original material are a couple of covers including The Meters ‘Same Old Thing’…which just about sums it up.

Leigh Gracie, writer, producer and
guitarist of Speedometer, sits behind the wheel of their third LP, revving the
V8 engine at full funk throttle to cut loose down the same old road.
