Rolling Stone magazine says: "The world can never have enough sexy Swedish synth-pop bands, that's for sure." Bollocks.

The Sounds, for starters, are one too many. Not only do they have the seventh worst band name in history, but they also peddle the flimsiest type of shallow-end piss-pop that makes you question whether they are actually even a band, rather than some witless A&R gang's attempted coup for the 6pm MTV2 slot.

These wafer-thin songs are all vacuum packed in a semi-fashionable, airless, lifeless production that will date-stamp this product as harshly as an ironic mullet, courtesy of the man ‘behind’ The Killers' Hot Fuss (producer Jeff Saltzman).
