From One Note Records, daddies of the UK funk scene are heading to
Totnes for the legendary Jelly Jazz Christmas Throwdown! Much to the
delight of the South-West's foot-shakers and hip-wobblers. Forget i-Player, this is unmissable!
Jelly rhythms have seen their club sessions become of the
longest running in the UK, and this gig's guaranteed to be awesome. Bust out your best dancefloor moves to DJs Pete Isaac & Griff (Jelly Jazz) and watch out as they present The New Mastersounds, with the incredible Dionne Charles on vocals. As a band, and as individuals, The New Mastersounds have since clocked up collaborations with an impressive array of musicians DJs and producers, including: Lou Donaldson (Blue Note), Corinne Bailey Rae (EMI), Quantic (Tru Thoughts), Carleen Anderson (Young Disciples / Brand New Heavies), John Arnold (Ubiquity), Mr Scruff (Ninja Tune), Snowboy (Ubiquity), Fred Everything (2020vision), Andy Smith (Portishead), James Taylor (JTQ), LSK (Faithless), and Karl Denson (Lenny Kravitz / Greyboy AllStars).
