Sterts Theatre, Liskeard, 19 June

MIRACLE THEATRE SUMMER TOUR 2008“Jason”: Love, death and seasickness in the Lap of the Gods. Having built a great reputation for outdoor production, The Miracle Theatre will once again be visiting venues across the South West with sometimes tragic, sometimes romantic, sometimes comedic results.

Adapted from Greek myths by director Bill Scott the show promises to take the audience through the lands of legends as the hapless hero Jason battles against the odds in his quest for the Golden Fleece. From a dodgy oracle, to bad weather forecasts; from threats from dysfunctional Gods to sirens with halitosis, our hero battles on with tragic consequences, only stumbling when he meets the sorceress Medea.

Devised and performed by Jason Squibb, Jo Bowis, Ben Oldfield, and Sally Crooks, the play will visit castles, gardens, ancient sites, grand houses and village greens throughout Cornwall from June through to end of August. They will also be visiting Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Gloucestershire. For full tour list and details about how to get tickets, visit www.miracletheatre.co.uk.
