Falmouth Princess Pavilions, 17 April
This
April, Falmouth’s Princess Pavilions will be transformed into a melting
pot of talented models, designers, musicians and even the odd boxer. A
contemporary fashion show with a twist – with something for everyone.
Amiee Albiston, choreographer, dancer and model, has summoned some of the finest designers in the country to participate in ‘The Walk’ in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.
Indie rock group The Hitchcock Rules will be playing live from behind the catwalk. There will be designers from around the country dressing a cast of beautiful models (male and female) and not to mention a whole array of dancers, actors, comedians and other entertainers.
Ruarri Joseph will be playing tracks from his new album, while comedian Ben Murphy (with the help of Ashleigh Sendin) will be compere for the evening. Truro boxing club are providing the male models (the good looking ones we're told) and Toni and Guy are providing the stylists for the night.
All proceeds will be going to Macmillan nurses (even the performers are donating their usual fees) and the whole evening promises to be an unforgettable party.
Tickets are £6.50 and available from the Princess Pavilion box office on 01326 211222 – all proceeds go to the Macmillan nurses.
